The United States Postal Service provides a benefits kiosk for their employees and Wal-Mart has a hiring kiosk in order to complete an application. Busch Entertainment and Sony Theatres have built ticketing kiosks for their customers. Ordering has been made easier at some McDonalds because of order entry kiosk, and the lines at the Nevada and Virginia DMV's have become much shorter due to the introduction of order entry kiosk.

Gaming kiosks are used at several famous casinos, such as the Bellagio, Tropicana and the Mohegan Sun. Citigroup and Bank of America use kiosks to provide financial services to their customers.
