There are approximately 32 different species of dolphin located throughout the world but when it comes to swimming with these mammals, there are only a dedicated few where humans are allowed to come into contact with them.
The best choice and widely used is the Bottlenosed dolphin. This breed is more adaptable to humans than trying to swim with wild dolphins for example and you don’t want to end up in a situation you cannot handle.
Top Tip: Always look carefully and thoroughly when booking your trip because your dream could turn into a nightmare if you end up with a breed of dolphin that has had no human contact and unlike in controlled conditions, you have no way of predicting their behaviour. Always be careful and look around for as long as possible. If a deal is too good to be true then it most likely is. There must be a catch somewhere. Pay a good price to ensure no hitches crop up.
