Where do you begin in this section? Lets go left to right - or West to East for all of you out there that love the cardinal directions. The first spot is Alaska. This is an area that to look at for those summer campers that are looking for a little cooler weather and something that many people never get to see at all. Though Alaska may cost a bit more than other camping areas, this will be a camping trip that will be exceptionally organized and a once in the lifetime trip. The next area is California. While this may be a vacation spot for so many hotel dwellers, there are also multiple areas that allow for the camper to enjoy an hour trip to mountain or beach. Great location.
The "Great Northwest" provides an avenue for outdoor extreme people to camp and enjoy many of their favorite activities. The states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana join this Pacific Northwest region for some great camping. Look to lots of deep forest camping and river trips. During this trip you may find yourselves fishing in some of the bass rivers or careening down that river in an inflatable raft. Shifting rapidly to the west you can find yourselves in the Ozarks region. Missouri and Arkansas will present a moderate temperature for campers to enjoy the wonderful Midwest nature as well as the activities that surround a wonderful lake. Moving slightly to the west you move onto the Appalachians and the state of West Virginia. The Hills of West Virginia provide amazing secluded places of camping and some of the best white water rafting in the nation.
Wherever you go - North, South, East or West - United States will provide a myriad of opportunities for camping for all different kinds of campers.
