The possible answers to this question are endless. A person can go Ballooning wherever their heart desires. Most people wish to go Ballooning over places that are scenic and serene. Some examples would be the Grand Canyon, the countryside, along rivers, through hill countries, or over big cities. This diversity for locations allows Ballooning to be a worldwide sport. From the United States to Australia, in just about any scenic vacation spot, a Ballooning opportunity can be found. Most excursions are run from local companies that specialize in Ballooning and Ballooning expeditions. With height ranges from just over the treetops to thousands of feet in the air, a ride in a balloon allows the riders to see for miles and offers spectacular views, especially at sunset or sunrise. With this in mind, while it is possible to go Ballooning on a cloudy day, it will not be nearly as enjoyable for the riders due to the limited visibility. Ballooning expeditions are offered all over the U.S., from New Jersey to Connecticut to California, as well as other countries such as Peru and Turkey.
