The best time to go Ballooning will, of course, vary from region to region. Due to the fact that Ballooning is done worldwide, what may be prime Ballooning season in Mexico will be the worst time of the year to go Ballooning in Austria. Basically, it comes down to weather conditions. Obviously, storms of any kind, but especially lightening storms do not allow balloons to fly. Also, if there are significant wind gusts or it is persistently windy outside, balloons will not be able to fly. Temperature is another factor. While it may be probable to fly outside, if the temperature is cold on the ground, no one will want to fly because the temperature will only drop the higher you climb. The ideal day to go Ballooning would be a clear, mild, sunny day with a slight breeze blowing. This weather situation would be the easiest day for the pilots to fly the balloons as well as providing the riders the highest level of comfort which allows them to enjoy the ride. This weather situation could occur at various different times throughout the year in different places worldwide. But, as long as the temperature is warm enough, the wind is not blowing too hard, and it is not storming, you should be able to have an enjoyable balloon ride.
