With any holiday, there are many items that will be required for your trip to make sure it goes as smoothly as possible.
Booking an Archaeology trip will potentially require different objects, as part of any holiday, items such as tools etc may be provided but how do you know what is needed?
• Bug Spray – With many locations and depending on the weather, it is ideal to have plenty of bug spray available if it should be required
• Sun Screen – Another object that will depend completely on the weather but you need to ensure that you have protection of at least factor 15 – 20
• Study Footwear – It is ideal to wear boots or other all over foot protection. In exotic locations, you may need to wade through rivers or long grass where many creatures such as snakes could bite your feet. Don’t wear open toed sandals in this situation
Top Tip: Always be aware of the environment you will be exploring because it is important to wear the correct footwear and clothing to protect yourself against any risks that could be in the area.
