Some extreme adventure campers can also speed up that heart rate with activities that involve water. The simple canoe ride down the lazy river may not be enough to qualify into the adventure camping categories, but still can be quite an adventure for younger campers. But add a few rapids and some quick moving water and you have an adventure for a lot of campers. Adventure campers may also decide to book a white water rafting trip during their camping excursion. The states of Oregon, Colorado, and West Virginia boast some of the best white water rafting areas in the United States, and definitely in the world. A person can also grab a kayak and head down those rivers as well. Actually in the jungles in South America and in the Asia Pacific region people have begun to take kayaks down rivers and down waterfalls for some thrill in their life. Make sure that you have proper information on the waterfall and you check with local experts on which to go down and which to avoid.
For some high-energy times - grab your deep-sea fishing pole, but you may want to leave your regular fishing pole at home. The large waves of the ocean combined with the large game that you are going after makes this great activity for adventure campers. Most of the time you can book trips with companies that may also let you rent equipment.
